1. Services Overview

Rucero specializes in corporate legal support including formation, compliance, contract drafting, and related advisory services.

2. Fees and Billing

All fees are payable in advance unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept major methods of payment as indicated on our site.

3. Policy for Corporate Legal Services

Clients may adjust scheduled engagements with at least 48 hours notice to avoid a fee charge for rescheduling. If cancellation occurs more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled start, we will provide a reimbursement of any pre-paid fees via the original payment method within 14 days.

If cancellation occurs fewer than 72 hours prior to the start, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled fee will apply. Once work has commenced, no reimbursement is available, given that counsel time and resources have been allocated.

Expedited formation services are not eligible for any reimbursement due to the rapid allocation of specialized resources and commitments to third parties.

4. Policy for Information Products

Our digital materials, such as guides, templates, and recorded seminars, are delivered electronically. Due to the nature of digital delivery, requests for reimbursement must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. After that period or once access credentials are provided, no reimbursement is available. Approved reimbursements will be processed via the original payment method within 10 days of approval.

5. Policy for Goods

Physical items, including printed manuals and swag, may be sent back for a replacement or reimbursement if they are unused and in original condition within 30 days of receipt. To initiate a shipment, contact us via our contact form. Customers are responsible for outbound shipping costs. Approved reimbursements will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the shipment.

6. Refund Procedures

When a reimbursement is approved, we will credit the original payment method. For certain services and products, we may offer a credit toward future services in lieu of a cash reimbursement, upon client request. All credits must be used within one year of issuance or they will expire.

7. Liability and Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rucero’s liability under these terms shall not exceed the fees paid for the services or products giving rise to any claim.

8. Amendments

We may modify these terms at any time by posting an updated version on our website. Continued use of our offerings after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
